Access to Water
In rural areas of Togo, many communities lack access to clean water. Clean water prevents waterborne illnesses like diarrhea, cholera, and dysentery, which are leading causes of child mortality in Africa. Access to safe water improves hygiene and sanitation, reducing the spread of infections and diseases. Children, especially girls, often miss school to fetch water from distant sources, hindering their education. By providing clean water in schools, Every Child Educated aims to create healthier environments and decrease absenteeism caused by illnesses. This initiative not only supports students’ health but also promotes equal access to education.
Basic Healthcare
We provide funding for essential healthcare services that children need to enroll in school and excel as they learn and grow. Our program emphasizes and supports regular health checkups and immunizations, which protect children from preventable diseases and ensure they stay healthy and able to attend school consistently.
